  The older guy at the parts counter is clueless. Sold me the wrong part for my car three times and didn't even own up to the mistakes. The service manager apologized because he knew it was wrong, but the parts guy just shrugged his shoulders and insisted it was still correct.
  
  Even though you provide them with a VIN for the vehicle, double check the part number to save yourself return trips.
